Warranty Details – BLS Product Warranty

The warranties listed below are granted only to the original purchaser (proof of purchase is required).

Best Living Systems fulfills the warranties on its own products. Where a product is manufactured by another company, Best Living Systems will direct customers to make warranty claims through the original manufacturer’s warranty program, which is subject to the original manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions.

Warranty Provisions

Best Living Systems warranties are subject to the following provisions:

Your BLS/MCI™ Air Purifier is warrantied to be free from all defects in material and workmanship in normal indoor use for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase.

Your BLS/MCI™ DBI Bracket (used on HVAC probes) is warrantied to be free from all defects in material and workmanship in normal indoor use for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase.

These warranties DO NOT cover parts of the Air Purifier that require replacement under normal use. This includes, where applicable, the DBI cell, the PCO module, LED assembly, filters, and filter assemblies. Although the UV lamp requires periodic replacement, the PCO target plate (less the UV or LED lamp, where it may be separated) is warrantied for the same one (1) year period as the purifier, should that plate need replacement.

Any damage or malfunctions caused by negligence, abuse, or use not in accordance with the Owner’s Manual are not covered by this warranty. Likewise, any defect or damage caused by unauthorized service or the use of other than Genuine Manufacturer parts are not covered.

The warrantor will, at its option, repair or replace defective part(s) for the Air Purifier that is covered by this warranty. As a matter of warranty policy, the manufacturer will not refund the customer’s purchase price.

Once approved for receipt, return the defective Air Purifier or Air Purifier parts in the original packaging (or pay for packaging provided for you by the manufacturer) to the authorized service center as directed by the warrantor. All transportation charges submitted under this warranty shall be borne by the purchaser. Unless this warranty is expressly renewed, enhanced, or extended by the manufacturer or its agent, any repaired or replaced parts shall be warrantied to the original purchaser only for the length of the unexpired portion of the original warranty.

Repairs Not Covered by Warranty

Repairs not covered under this warranty will be billed at $75 bench charge (in advance for evaluation), and $150 per labor hour plus parts. Once evaluated, the cost of repair will be approved and paid by the owner of the product prior to any repair. Return shipping will be paid by BLS. At its own discretion, by company policy, BLS may require its owner to contact OEM prior and as an alternative to any BLS approval for repair.

FURTHER LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS APPLY

Any warranty that may be implied in connection with your purchase or use of the Air Purifier, including any warranty of merchantability or any warranty for Fitness For A Particular Purpose is limited to the duration of this warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Your relief for the breach of this warranty is limited to the relief expressly provided above. In no event shall the manufacturer be liable for any consequential or incidental damages you may incur in connection with your purchase or use of the Air Purifier. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
